OD Hotels is a group of luxury boutique hotels with properties across Spain including Ocean Drive Talamanca and Ocean Drive Ibiza in Ibiza, Ocean Drive Madrid, Ocean Drive Seville, Ocean Drive Malaga. The hotels pride themselves on contemporary and innovative design, which is created by the architectural studio of Victor Rahola Vidal and interior designer, Mayte Matutes. Their latest opening Hotel Espana Ocean Drive in Barcelona is a luxury boutique hotel in the heart of Barcelona’s historic centre. Housed in a landmark building on Las Ramblas, the hotel is steps from the city’s Gothic Quarter. Originally opened as Fonda España in 1859, the property has been part of the fabric of Barcelona for more than 165 years. The newly renovated, design-led hotel has revitalised its rooms and social spaces, recapturing the original essence of the building and restoring the modernist legacy of architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner.
