Rebus Launches Hand-Engraved Pendants at Press Breakfast in Mayfair
Yesterday we hosted a press breakfast to launch Rebus’ new collection of hand-crafted, hand-engraved pendants. The press breakfast was attended by a group of journalists from well-known titles such as FT How to Spend it, Red, Suitcase Magazine and Phoenix.
Rebus, who are renowned for making bespoke signet rings, recently created a new line of pendants to act as the perfect partner to a signet ring. As part of the press launch, each guest was welcomed into the Rebus workshop to create their very own personalised pendant. The face of the pendant was a blank canvas and could be engraved with anything, from initials and meaningful text, to symbols and monograms. Over the next few weeks Rebus’ team of hand-engravers got to work to create the pendants ready to be revealed at the press breakfast. It was a great opportunity to show the journalists the incredible art of hand-engraving in Rebus’ Hatton Garden workshop and give them something uniquely personalised to take home with them.
The handcrafted pendants, which come in 9-carat or 18-carat yellow gold are available in two different face shapes; oval or disk and can also have the extra-special addition of diamonds set around the edge. The semi-precious stone collection includes 9-carat or 18-carat yellow gold oval pendants set with either; Bloodstone, Sardonyx, Cornelian, Lapis Lazuli, or Black Onyx. All pendants can be paired with a selection of chain lengths: 16″, 18″, 20″, 22″ or 24″. Pendants and chains together start at £265 and are made to order.
The breakfast took place at Halkin in 
Mayair in a charming private room with windows looking out over a beautiful courtyard. The room looked lovely, decorated with an array of hand selected flowers and Rebus added a personalised touch by providing every guest with their own hand-engraved teaspoon place setting. We ate some wonderful food from The Good Life Eatery which included delicious granola bowls, blueberry and banana muffins, a selection of raw cold press juices and clean power shots.
The breakfast, to launch the new hand-engraved pendants was a huge success and showed just a glimpse of the creative and unique ideas that Rebus have to offer. Check out their website to see all their pieces at
